Civita Place of Thought: From Cucinelli to Veltroni
Civita Luogo del Pensare draws top names, from Cucinelli to Veltroni, for an impressive 2021 edition. The journey towards Unesco World Heritage recognition for the Cultural Landscape of Civita di Bagnoregio takes center stage. Among the anticipated highlights, entrepreneur Brunello Cucinelli's lecture on beauty and humanism.
The appointment is scheduled at 21 (starting time scheduled for all scheduled appointments except the first with Ferroni), in Piazza San Donato in Civita, for Friday 27 August. “We worked to a very tight deadline and in a complicated context for events and we are doubly satisfied with the result achieved. It will be an edition with big names but above all with speeches and books that we consider interesting in the current debate. Each meeting will also be an opportunity to promote the work of candidacy for World Heritage that we are carrying out". The words of Mayor Luca Profili.

A positive promotion to which we look with confidence and optimism”.
The cycle of meetings will be opened by Giulio Ferroni, author of the book 'L'Italia di Dante. Journey to Comedy Country. A meeting that is part of the events for the seven hundredth anniversary of the death of the great poet that Bagnoregio has honored in recent months also with the recognition of honorary citizenship to Dante. The meeting with Ferroni is for Friday 6 August at the Casa del Vento (6pm).
August 10 is the turn of one of the best-known faces of Italian journalism: Antonio Polito; for the presentation of the book 'The Rule of the Way';.
For 14 August in Civita an exceptional duo: the historic guitarist of the Pooh Dodi Battaglia and the cycling champion Francesco Moser. They will be on stage together to talk about their books 'My 60 Travel Companions' and 'Francesco Moser'. At the end of the interview there will be an acoustic concert by Dodi Battaglia.
On 16 August Claudio Colaiacomo presents his book 'The Incredible Curiosities of Rome' in Civita.
On August 19 it is the turn of Mirko Zilahy with 'The man of the wood'; (Civita).
On August 21 Costantino D'Orazio arrives with 'Lives of excellent artists' (Casa del Vento).
On 24 August in Piazza San Donato in Civita there will be Walter Veltroni with 'The Moro case and the First Republic'.
On 26 August it is the turn of another big name in Civita: Paolo Crepet with 'Beyond the storm'.
On September 1, again at 21, in Piazzale Biondini the show by Emilio Solfrizzi 'Roger'.
On September 2, Umberto Galimberti arrives at the Casa del Vento with 'What it means to think'.
On 5 September the show 'Good to die'; with Debora Caprioglio, Pino Quartullo, Gianluca Ramazzotti.
Last appointment with another great name of Italian journalism like Ezio Mauro (Casa del Vento) on 17 September.
