Bagnoregio and Montefiascone Collaborate for Territorial Tourism Development
Bagnoregio and Montefiascone unite to work towards comprehensive tourism development and enhance the appeal of Tuscia's territory for tour operators. This morning, Casa Civita's sole administrator, Francesco Bigiotti, along with mayors Luca Profili and Massimo Paolini, spent several hours conducting an operational survey of Rocca dei Papi. They were accompanied by Dr. Valentina Berneschi, Director of Antonio da San Gallo the Younger's Museum of Architecture.
These are the preliminary steps taken by Casa Civita for the development of the first bilateral relationship between the Municipality of Bagnoregio and a Tuscia municipality. This choice, driven by Mayor Paolini's request and determination, has fallen on Montefiascone.
"We embark on a long journey that we all hope will allow us to structure an appealing offering for various national and international tour operators," states Bigiotti. "Casa Civita was established to enhance Bagnoregio's tourism offerings, and this also means expanding our presence across the territory and identifying strengths to achieve the fundamental goal of increasing visitor stays. Alliances and the ability to transcend local boundaries are needed. With Montefiascone, an important journey for everyone begins. I thank Mayor Profili for the trust and Mayor Paolini for choosing to include the splendid village in a network project that we all hope will yield mutual benefits."
"Montefiascone has a wealth of history and stories to share with Italy and the world," Mayor Paolini expresses. "We boast uniquely beautiful landscapes and the legacy left behind by numerous popes. We have a wine, Est!Est!!Est!!!, which is already well-known and appreciated, as well as an extraordinary view of a lake. Bagnoregio is a valuable partner with whom we can achieve positive outcomes for the benefit of our communities."
"Casa Civita is now actively engaged in labor and bringing forth uncommon strategic vision and capabilities on the field," Mayor Profili remarks. "The more we can look beyond the narrow boundaries between our villages, the better we can develop and enhance our territories."
