Bagnoregio takes center stage in the second edition of the Italian Motor Week

Bagnoregio takes center stage in the second edition of the Italian Motor Week. The municipality in Tuscia is part of the City of Motors network, alongside iconic "made in Italy" motor landmarks like Maranello and Modena (cities tied to Enzo Ferrari's entrepreneurial history), Sant'Agata Bolognese (Ferruccio Lamborghini), Galliate (Achille Varzi), and also the capital of Italian automotive, Turin.

Events in Bagnoregio will revolve, as last year, around the Taruffi Museum. On Saturday, April 20th, the museum will have an extraordinary opening to the public starting at 9 PM, featuring a gastronomic evening and free tasting of local products: olive oil, cheese, wine, and specialties of the Bagnoregio region.

Sunday, April 21st, is dedicated to road safety. The Blue Coach of the Highway Patrol will arrive in Bagnoregio and remain throughout the morning from 9 AM to 12 PM.

As part of the event, at 11:30 AM, there will be a presentation of a impactful book on the effectiveness of road safety by Pierluigi Faloni, a senior government official. The curator of the Taruffi Museum, Dr. Kyoto Mino, and journalist Giuseppe Rescifina will be present.

"For Bagnoregio, it's a great honor to be part of the City of Motors network, which is carrying out an extraordinary job of promoting territories. The Italian Motor Week is the moment when the network highlights its best and, through synergy, manages to create a calendar of nationally significant initiatives. I thank President Luigi Zironi, Mayor of Maranello, for leading the initiative and all the staff working on it. I also thank Fabrizio Verzaro, President of the Taruffi Association, for the valuable commitment they invest in Bagnoregio throughout the year." These are the words of Mayor Luca Profili of Bagnoregio.

"After the success of last year, we are at the second edition of the Italian Motor Week," declares President of the Taruffi Association, Verzaro. "We have organized two days to make the Museum come alive in an extraordinary way, also thanks to the collaboration of the State Police, who will be present with the Blue Coach. I invite everyone to participate actively and enjoy these two days of motor festivities."

The Italian Motor Week is organized by Anci City of Motors in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and the Automobile Club of Italy. The initiative is sponsored by Enit. There are hundreds of events scheduled throughout Italy: Vespa World Days in Pontedera, the World Endurance Championship (WEC) in Imola, vintage and supercar restoration workshops in Maranello, the road safety village in Monza, and much more.

The goal is ambitious: to surpass the over 100,000 attendees of the 2023 edition and reignite the passion of the motor enthusiasts, both Italian and international, with a calendar of events involving museums and private collections open to the public, racetracks, and symbolic cities of motorsport, places of the Italian automotive industry for both two and four wheels.
