The Civita di Bagnoregio bridge becomes a light show for 'The Night of Lights'

The Civita di Bagnoregio bridge becomes a unique attraction for the special 'Night of Lights'. Appointment scheduled for August 3rd, starting from 7pm, with a real lighting show. There are three moments throughout the evening where it will be possible to witness a truly exceptional show: at 10pm, 11pm and 12am.

A mix of light, created using LED bars, dance and music. Around fifty young people will be involved in bringing the bridge to life in a choreographic game inspired by the tree of life and the Eiffel Tower. The public will be fascinated by the play of light that will cover the village, which for the occasion becomes a place of dreams. The Belvedere and Mercatello areas are also involved, for a night that aims to represent the uniqueness of the Civita and Bagnoregio area.

The initiative is organized by the Municipality of Bagnoregio in collaboration with the Juppiter association. “The Night of Lights is a new project on which we have worked intensely to give the best to an audience that we hope will be very large. Bagnoregio aims to become a point of reference also for high-level events. We wish everyone, especially the Bagnoresi, to have a nice evening." The words of the mayor Luca Profili.

“We will work to make Civita usable even at night, with targeted events and initiatives – said the Councilor for Culture Francesco Bigiotti -. In fact, we are convinced that the emotion of visiting at night can be successful and represent a new industry. We will do this by finding an intelligent balance between the different needs and interests. The Night of Lights represents an important first small step in this direction."

There are many events designed to make everything extraordinary. From 7pm 'traveling light enchantments' with magicians, luminous butterflies, bubbles of light, jugglers and firemen throughout the entire party area. The street food and cotton candy spaces are also scheduled to open from 7pm.

From 9.15pm to 10.15pm the show by the 54° KM theater company, poetry and body of the disabled children of Jupiter, 'Of Love, of nostalgia and other seasons'. Performances of the 'Moonlight Serenade' with 'Little Brown Jug Band' are scheduled (9.15pm; 10.15pm; 11.15pm). Small traveling concert by the Gift Economy Orchestra.

At 10.15pm a site specific aerial show 'Chimere' by and with 'Le Baccanti'. A strong moment will be the tightrope walker Andrea Loreni's crossing of the void over the rooftops of Civita. At 11.15pm fire games at the Belvedere, looking at Civita and at 12.15am videomapping within the 'Civita in all senses' project.

Entrance to the initiative requires a 5 euro ticket.
